Aqua Dots Recalled by Spin Master

Another day and another toy recall. It seems like we are getting too comfortable around product recalls. But this time Aqua Dots recall comes with a grim headline.
Source: NBC17 - At least two children suffered comas after swallowing Aqua Dots, distributed by Spin Master of Toronto, Canada. …. The coating on the beads that causes the beads to stick to each other when water is added contains a chemical that can turn toxic when many are ingested. Children who swallow the beads can become comatose, develop respiratory depression, or have seizures.
Starting out in Australia it is spreading like an epidemic across the globe. Spin Master is now recalling these toys in North American stores. U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued an official press release regarding the dangers of Aqua Dots.
