Google’s highly intelligent search engine algorithm has made it a famous brand. Now Google maybe moving away from the artificially intelligent search results and embrace the power of users. Google is experimenting with a Digg like system which allows users to basically rate search results on any subject according to their preference and perception.

google-digg-screenshotThis Google experiment allows users to bump up a result if they like it or remove it from the results page if they don’t. It even goes one step further and allows users to suggest a replacement result if the searcher knows of another page with better information. These changes will take effect immediately and will stay in effect next time you search for the same terms. Google tracks your preferences by having you log in and saves the information.
