Gliffy Demo: Create Drawings Online Using Only A Web browser

Jan 10th, 2008 | By Shamim | Category: Applications, FREE, Internet, Reviews

Gliffy is a new Web 2.0 based system which allows you to let loose your creativity and draw directly with a browser. You do not need to download an application or follow complicated install procedures. Because Gliffy works from the browser you can even move from one platform to another and continue to create content. For example you can be as creative with a Microsoft Windows PC as with a Linux or a Mac. And after you have created a masterpiece you can share it quickly and easily with anyone with an email address. The free version restricts you to 5 free diagrams. For a few dollars you can use Gliffy Premium which gives access to a lot more libraries, plugins and features. Subscription is currently set at $30 for 1 year with discount for 2 years. The example diagrams are outstanding and worth trying out the product for.

Gliffy describes itself as …

From floor plans and landscape designs to process flows and technical drawings, Gliffy Basic’s shape libraries and intuitive interface will help you create diagrams instantly. … Only Gliffy makes it this easy to share, publish, and even collaborate with family, organizations, and co-workers. … You can create, share and collaborate with colleagues and clients. Process flows, org charts, network diagrams, technical drawings - see how you can create clarity with diagrams.
