HP Taking Interest In Green Technology

Saving the planet seems to be one of the tiny factors behind HP’s business decisions. To appease the always growing environment conscious community HP introduced a couple of energy efficient desktop PCs. HP Compaq dc7800 Ultra-slim Desktop and HP Compaq dc5800 Business PC are equipped with solid state drives reducing the dependence on spinning hard disks. The solid state drives or SSD for short are more reliable than standard hard disks and consume less power. They also give faster access to data residing on the hard disk and produce to wear and tear. The only restricting factor to wider adoption of SSD is the price tag. Running on Intel Core 2 Duo processors both desktop PCs are geared to the small business which associates saving the environment to lower power bills.
