Apple Store Coming To China

Olympics is not the only thing heading to China this year. Apple has plans for opening a flagship store in the country sometime this year. The Apple Insider reports that ”construction is already underway” but no specific dates have been mentioned. Considering the millions of visitors who will flock to China during the Olympic season it is only natural that Apple corporate overlords look to monetize the surge in visitors. ifoAppleStore has also confirmed the story of the new Chinese store and provides a bit more details. In the words of Apple … ” Construction is underway to improve the utilities, repave the street with green and white marble, restore building façades to their 1920-1930 appearance, re-introduce a tram and rebuild the existing Opera House.”
