FedEx Ninjas Deceive Me
Feb 14th, 2008 | By Shamim | Category: WTF

Are FedEx deliveries carried out by super Ninjas? I ask because for the past 2 days I am waiting for FedEx to deliver a package and it never shows up. Instead of my precious phone that is supposed to be delivered I only get a little FedEx post-it saying “This is our second attempt”. My only conclusion is the FedEx deliver man is actually a Ninja who can drop a note without making a noise (or buzzing my apartment number).
If I learnt anything from Hollywood Kung Fu movies is that Ninjas are stealthy and can move without alerting anyone. Drawing a similar comparison the FedEx delivery guy is moving very much like a Ninja. Two days I sit at home not more than 15 feet from the front door of my apartment building. To give you a better description, I live on the ground floor and my apartment faces the street where FedEx has to pass by. The main door to my building (which is used by everyone) is next to my window about 3 feet away. And for the last 2 days I do not hear (or see) any FedEx guy pressing my apartment buzzer. As a result I am using up my precious vacation time waiting for the mysterious FedEx Ninja.
UPDATE:
Looks like 4 hours after the story hit the web I have received my precious FedEx package. It contains my precious Sony Ericsson P1i smart-phone. Review will come soon.
